This is my first piece marked "JS"! It is a button bowie, 1084 steel differentially hardened. 14 1/2 inches OL, 9 1/2 inch blade length. The bolster and end cap are low layer count damascus, the capture nut is blued mild steel. The handle is Sambar Stag.
